After many problems over the past 6 – 8 months with our free hosting clients crashing our systems, spamming via our network, trying to hack into our systems and finally using our free server to dispatch Ddos attacks to other servers and users computers on the internet we have finally decided to call it quits. While we know this decision is going to cause a lot of free clients to leave eFuZone in disgust and maybe even cause some bad publicity to our company, its simply getting too costly to keep a full time staff online to constantly sort through the problems brought upon by a few bad clients. We started our free hosting service to allow the average person on the internet to create their virtual presence on the ever growing internet. In the 3 years we have been hosting free websites we have seen many clients succeed and move on to new avenues, we have also seen many clients fail and come up with new ideas for using their accounts. We were happy to help in any way. Now however with a few of our free users becoming more and more abusive on our systems and our network, and the increasing amount of man hours it is taking to keep these users in check coupled with the ever increasing downfall of our economy we have decided enough is enough. Like most of our free clients, I am sorry to see this service go as it has been in place almost as long as our company has been on the internet, and it has helped thousands of new and experienced internet users to make their own little place on the internet. While we will continue to provide paid website hosting, we will immediately discontinue our free website hosting services. No users files will be deleted for a few months to allow them time to retrieve backups of their data or upgrade to post for hosting or one of our paid plans. If you would like to make arrangements to be put on a diffrent hosting plan please feel free to contact us or call us. We will be more than happy to assist you with your upgrade or plan change. If you would like to get a backup of your files so that you can take them to another free website host we will allow you to download them as well. We hope you understand our needs for discontinuing this service and appreciate all we have done to try to keep this service online.
